The new £60 million Student Centre and University Square is at the heart of our Preston Campus was constructed by Bowmer and Kirkland.  The building is a central hub for support services, and a gateway between the University and the city

Lateral were appointed as Technical Adviser for the Commissioning and Validation of the VAV ventilation systems.  Our role was to verify the construction of the supply plenums within the raised floors to ensure the pressure regimes complied with the design criteria.  A full audit of the operation of the ventilation systems and controls was undertaken to the satisfaction of the client’s M&E design adviser, BDP.
