The Guildhall in Portsmouth was originally built in 1886-90, was fire bombed during the second world war, and reconstructed from 1956-59.

The Guildhall is now is a visitor attraction and performance venue with its 2,000 seat main Auditorium

Lateral were commissioned by Portsmouth City Council to survey and redesign the existing plant and ventilation systems serving the main Auditorium, Portsmouth City Council Chambers, the Lord Mayor’s Suite and ancillary areas

Portsmouth Council’s brief was to develop an energy efficient plant replacement solution to enhance the visitor and occupier experience and environment of the Grade II Listed Building and popular local landmark
