The creation of a new John Lewis full line department store as part of the redevelopment of New Street Station and upgrading of Palisades by Network Rail, and the development of the south side of the New Street Gateway which is also a key element of Birmingham’s Big City Plan.
At 250,000 sq ft, it is one of the largest John Lewis shops outside London. The estimated cost of the fit out is circa £28M.
Lateral Technologies & Solutions Ltd were commissioned to provide MPE design duties utilising Building Information Modelling (BIM) as the key component through feasibility, design, procurement and construction, along with an ETM role providing a soft landing and client support after handover.
