John Lewis Partnership headquarters building floor refurbishments and infrastructure upgrades.
John Lewis have created a ‘Great Place to Work’ mission statement for all their partners at HQ in London. There is also a growing need for additional partners to be accommodated within the existing HQ floor plate. This has resulted in a series of initiatives and projects to improve the environment by replacing existing mechanical and electrical infrastructure and distribution networks throughout the building.
Projects have been varied, some of which centred on replacement of boilers, chillers, cooling towers and air handling units. As each individual floor of the 12 storey building has been refurbished, the existing AC induction units have been replaced with high efficiency AC equipment. New power and data systems are employed to meet the operational demands of one of the country’s leading retailers.
Lateral Technologies & Solutions Ltd were commissioned by John Lewis Partnership to design and oversee the replacement and upgrading of existing MEP system.
