Lateral Technologies & Solutions Ltd are providing the commissioning management expertise for this project on behalf of Carillion. The project consists of two main housing blocks, a facilities building and a gates building. CHP systems are used throughout the development, with full back up on all systems to maintain conditions within the buildings.

Commissioning procedures have been developed to accommodate the specialist nature of the systems within the cell blocks, such as security, data and communications. The increased complexity of the commissioning process required the strategic planning and monitoring of the commissioning activities to ensure that the integration of the systems are completed successfully before handover to the Scottish Prison Services.
