Lateral were appointed by Land Securities to provide their expertise as completion engineers for the new BBC Scotland HQ in Glasgow.

Duties involved co-ordinating the programming; witnessing, reporting and certifying of all commissioning activities for the works from time of appointment to practical completion of the project; reviewing and monitoring progress and quality of installation; ensuring compliance of the commissioning specialists with the commissioning and project specification; liaising with D&B contractor and all installers to ensure a successful project completion; programming, monitoring, reviewing and commenting on the Operating & Maintenance Manuals and the as-fitted drawings; establishing and implementing client training.
